Set up Kubernetes test environments for TestOps

In Katalon TestOps, you can create a Kubernetes (EKS) test environment to execute or schedule Test Runs.

Set up a Kubernetes Test Environment​

Note:

  • The setup works best with version 1.25 or later.

To set up a Kubernetes Test Environment, follow these steps:
  1. Sign in to Katalon TestOps and go to TestOps Settings > Organization Setup.

  2. Click Kubernetes to switch to the Kubernetes Test Environmentspage.
  3. Click the Create Kubernetes Test Environment button at the upper right corner.

  4. Fill in the information for your agent. The Authentication Type section has a dropdown menu with 3 options:

    • Agent Name: The display name for your agent

    • URL: The API server endpoint.

    • Certificate Authority: The content of your certificate authority.

    • Namespace: The namespace created for your Kubernetes cluster.

    • Authentication Type: The authentication method to access Kubernetes environment.

  5. Click Test Connection to ensure your information is correct.
  6. When the connection is correct, click Create.

If you've already done both, then you can Schedule test runs.
