Enable/disable AI features in an Account

Important:

  • You must be the Owner of your Account.

Katalon offers certain features powered by third-party generative AI to enhance your experience with test authoring, execution, and test operations management. This includes StudioAssist and Virtual Data Analyst, both of which are designed to streamline your workflow and improve efficiency.

By default, these features are disabled to respect user policies that may restrict the use of external AI, though they can be enabled at any time.

Follow these steps to enable the generative AI-powered features in your Account.

  1. Go to your Katalon Accounts page and select the account you'd like to enable or disable AI on.

  2. From the Account admin page, click Account Settings in the sidebar.

  3. In the AI Control section, click on the Allow the use of AI features across your account toggle. It turns blue, signifying that it's in its enabled state.
    1. To disable AI, click on the Allow the use of AI features across your account toggle. It turns grey, signifying it's in its disabled state.

  4. Select Proceed to confirm your action.
